Tosg Theatre Company. A one hour play inspired by the work of Jorge Luis Borghes. It has toured around the Highlands.

I was a beautyful day
Full length play commissioned by the Traverse Theatre for their 2005 Highland Tour. Also played two weeks in Edinburgh.
2005 - 2007
St. Kilda
Currently working on a theatre project which is to happen in six venues across five European countries. The show will incorporate live action, film, dance, music and a live-link to St. Kilda. The show will happen simultaneously in each venue in June 2007.

A musical for children on the life of the American folklore collector Margaret Faye Shaw. Performed in Eden Court, May '05.

Soho Theatre, London. I translated sections of the play into Gaelic. To be performed October 2006.

Traverse "Playwrights in Partnership" scheme. Translation of the French play UN HOMME EN FAILLITE written by David Lescot. Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh in conjunction with Les Subsistances Theatre, Lyon. Public reading October 2004. To be performed October 2006.

For ES Theatre Company in New York. Adaptation of the novel written by David Pickup for the stage. To be performed in New York and in London.

The Inaccessible pinnacle
Feature Film. Was one of the writing team for the film and wrote one of the ten minute "story sections" entitled "The Spaniard and The Gael".

Short film.(Writer/Director) Scottish Screen short film scheme for the BBC. Won best cinematography category at the Australian Industry Awards.

Machair (STV)
Assistant Series Editor and writer for the Scottish serial drama "MACHAIR" (STV). Writers' Guild Award for best foreign language soap (1995)

I have written scripts for a large number of documentaries in different genres, from arts to current affairs. I have also worked for various companies on developing proposals for television, a number of which have been commissioned.

The Klondykers
A novel which was launched at the Edinburgh Book Festival in 2005. I have a further commission for a novel to be released in 2007 entitled THE BOUNTY.

A short novel for teenagers about a war cameraman.


Radio

The gold digger
Radio 4 in partnership with Catherine Bailey Productions and the Traverse Theatre. Ahalf hour drama recorded live in front of a studio audience.

The watergaw
Radio 4 performed in 2005 as part of the Women's Hour series 15 MINUTES TO GO.


Directing
Iain Finlay Macleod has directed a large number of documentaries and series for which he has won a number of awards. He has been on teams which have won a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Programme and Celtic Film Festival categories for Best Entertainment Programme and Best Arts Documentary.
